- What are public files?
Public files are files that are shareable with other people only if you choose to share them by providing people with a sharing URL. Public files are not shared with the general public so people can only browse your folders and/or download your files if you give them a sharing URL.
Once files are uploaded, you can make them private or password protected at any time to provide an extra layer of security for confidential and/or sensitive files.
- What are password protected files?
Password protecting files provides an extra layer of security for confidential and/or sensitive files that you want to share with other people. If you password protect a file and share it with someone, that person will be required to enter the password you set in order to download it.
To password protect a file, click "Edit File" icon, and then put in the password you want in the password field. To remove the password, simply delete the password and save the page.
- How do I sort my files?
You can sort the files on your My Files page by clicking the header of the column you want to sort your files by (e.g. File Name, Date, Size, or Downloads).
The up/down arrow next to the header of each column lets you change whether the files are sorted in ascending or descending order.
- How do I create a new folder?
Go to My Files page and put in the folder name in the field and click on "Create New Folder".
- How do I edit/rename folders/files?
Go to My Files page and click on the "Edit Icon" next to the folder/file you want to edit, edit the details and submit the changes.
- How do I delete folders/files?
Go to My Files page and click on the "Delete Icon" (red X) next to the folder/file you want to delete.
